We prepaid for my parent’s funerals 2 years ago. We chose Cranes based on reviews, and after meeting Damien when he came to discuss options at my parent’s house. When mum passed away recently, we called Damien and it was so reassuring to have him advising us and taking care of arrangements at a very difficult time. As you are sitting here reading this, you may be wondering how on Earth to cope with a death in your family too. This is the position my family found ourselves in when we lost our sister. We still think of how much peace of mind we lost finding it so hard to make a decision. A small, independent family owned business. A wonderful, caring, compassionate &personalised service is provided. In a time when you need to place your faith and trust in another you can place it with full confidence in Damian. Nothing is too much trouble and although it is a business, he makes one feel special and important. I do not believe the big companies do this anymore. He is genuine and caring and it shows in all he does as he guides you through this sad time. Costs are much lower than quoted by the bigger companies and although we hate to think of money at a time like this it is still a consideration. Whether you have suffered the loss of a loved one or are looking to pre-arrange a funeral I don’t believe you can do any better than Damian Meehan of Crane Funerals.

This is long overdue, sorry Damian. Crane funerals did a funeral for us in January and it’s taken me this long to sit down and be able to write a review. Damian was caring, professional and took all these stresses away during this difficult time. I just can’t thank him enough. I cannot praise this company enough. Damian handled everything beautifully and nothing was to much. I know we were probably difficult to deal with as we wanted to say goodbye to dad with the most fitting celebration of his life. We wanted balloons, doves, butterflies, DVD presentation, little booklets to hand out and nothing was too hard. Damian we later found out is an embalmer and made dad look amazing. He had been sick for so long that when we saw him, he looked the best he had looked in 10 years. If you need a funeral director look no further as Crane Funerals are the company you are looking for. Priced well below the 4 other companies we rang……. 2 of them made out the were Greenies but that was not the case from what we saw.

What a professional, understanding, empathetic funeral company that wasn’t all about money!!!!!! Nice to finally see someone not taking advantage of people at such a difficult time. Damian was just so pleasant to deal with and made me and my family feel at ease. I’m not sure how I would have gotten through this if not for his help. I rang 4 places to get a quote as a friend highly recommended this after having another funeral home rip her off. Crane Funerals were just too good to be true. I was very hesitant at 1st wondering why he was so much cheaper than other places I had rung but as a DVA pensioner I don’t have lot and he offered an RSL/DVA pensioner discount. I wouldn’t hesitate, God Forbid if I have to do this again, in using Damian and Crane Funerals. They say if it sounds too good to be true chances are it is. NOT THIS TIME. I’m just so grateful Damian. Honestly I’ve done nothing but tell everyone at the club about how Damian made a horrible day just a little more bearable, all I had to do was figure out how to get myself through this tough time as Damian took care of the rest.

Damian helped my friend’s family after her sad and sudden death. Her mother and father travelled from China for funeral that Damian prepared for us. He did what 2 other companies didn’t seem very interested in doing. He rushed the Service through for us, and organised it just as we wanted, very simple funeral with family and a few close friends. After the funeral he actually even dropped some dumplings around to my house so my friends’ parents would have familiar food (his wife is Chinese and makes great dumplings).
