  1. Our deepest condolences to Peter, Sue, Robyn and the whole family. Uncle Andy had a great presence, so often seen to be smiling and ready with something positive to say. He was a good role model for everyone, and will be dearly missed.

    1. Thanks Frank. He was a good role model as was your dad and the other brothers. The end of a generation of gentlemen that you don’t see often these days.

      1. You will be sadly missed Grandpa. You taught all of your Grandkids so many things about life without even knowing it, just by being a True Gentlemen. We will always cherish and remember the Ashburton days where you would put up with all of us kids. The egg timer for shower times, cricket in the drive way and family Christmas’s with you, nanna and all the family. Your heavy foot behind the wheel I am always reminded of when im in a car with someone who takes off quick or brakes heavy. I could go on for hours but I’m not sure how many more words this will let me type… I’ve said it many times before but if I can become half the man you were Grandpa then I would of done life right. Gone but not forgotten. Thanks for winning the war.

  8. Andy was a true Australian who loved the simple things in life, including golf, his mates and mostly his loving family.
I haven’t seen him for a long time, but I have very fond memories of him in the 70’s and 80’s in particular. At all times he was a very happy, respectful and honest individual that loved good conversation.
He was one of the lucky people in this world to have shared his life with a loving devoted wife, and children that genuinely loved and cared for him.
Our genuine condolences to Sue, Mark, Peter, Robyn, partners and grandchildren. Andy will be sadly missed in this world.
Sincerely, Greg, Carolyne, Dean, Vivienne, Ryan and Kate OCallaghan

Not to mention his beloved Dot. Lots of good memories mostly of Ashburton days. We’ll be with you in spirit as you farewell your much loved dad . Lots of love , Trish and Colin.

  10. Deepest condolences to Peter, Sue, Robyn and their families. Uncle Andy was a true gentleman and the last of his loving and caring generation of siblings. I have so many great memories of Saturdays at the Lake Oval, when Greg and I would run down into the bar under the grandstand to tell he and Uncle David and my Dad who had kicked one of our few goals in the days when wooden spoons were very common, then Sunday mornings playing golf at Cranbourne while the frost was still on the fairways and greens and Sunday afternoon teas with scones with jam and cream at Ashburton. I remember his patience and encouragement of everyone, his smile and sense of humour and his passion for the Swans. Rest in peace with Aunty Dot, your brothers and sisters and parents.
Sincerely Mark, Mandy, Maeve, Patrick, Rogan, Mariah and Connor.
