Jansje Grosveld Funeral Notice and Tributes
JANSJE GROSVELD. 07.06.1932 – 12.07.2016.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the
Cirrus Reflection Space, Bunurong Memorial Park,
790 Frankston-Dandenong Road, Dandenong South,
on Thursday July 21st, to farewell our Mother, Mrs. Jansje Grosveld.
The Service will commence at 2.00pm.
The Celebrant Geoff McCully – together with us as a family –
will recount memories of Mum’s life as a special tribute to her.
Mum will be missed dearly after her life was cut suddenly short,
but she will long live on in our memories.
A poem by Kirsten Preus:
If Roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

From Jans and family.
Dear Jans, You came to Australia with your husband and very young family to give them a better life and better opportunities. Life was not easy, especially in the beginning and you worked very hard to provide for all. You were very proud of all of them and their achievements. You had your ups and downs but always managed to make the best out of what life had to offer you . You were my cousin my friend and my love and friendship will stay in my heart as something I will treasure always.Sincere condolences to all the family with the loss of their mother, oma, great-oma.
To The Grosveld Family My thoughts and prayers are with you all, will be sadly missed
Jane you were a sister and friend. We had a lot of laughs together as we had when Arie was in hospital in clayton – we walked from the hospital past our old house and went to springs rd found a bowling club went in made coffee sat down to drink it my Telefoon rang the hospital on the other end – Some thing had gone wrong what do we do. So we both said at the same time FIX it you fools We had a good laugh over it later Love you and mis you for ever
So many happy memories growing up as a neighbour, you never growled at us when we pinched a flower from your beautiful garden but instead you picked us a bunch to take home ?And the many invitations to join you for a afternoon snack will never be forgotten, our love and hugs to your beautiful family, another star to watch over all of us now xxxxx
To the Grosveld Family my condolences with the loss of your beautiful mother Jansje whom I have so many happy memories of especially around the time of St Nicks. The huge bowls of Olienbollen she would produce to feed the crowds of people, now they were delicious, making the hundred or more chocolate initial letters for everyone and leading the children in Dutch Christmas Songs before St Nick arrived.
I still have sitting at home a very cute doll Jansje made for me as a St Nick’s gift I could never part with it, the doll must be at least 20 years old. She sits at home near my desk.Jansje will be forever in our hearts.
To the Grosveld Family, my heartfelt condolences to you for the loss of your mother, she is now an angel watching over her family. May your memories be of comfort to you all.
