Phillip Leslie Evans

7th June 1968 ~ 31st October 2021

The Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Phil Evans will be invitation only due to ongoing lockdown restrictions.

Even with the easing of restrictions, Phil’s funeral service will be held in a Chapel limited to 83 people.

Phil’s family will contact those people who will make up the 83 allowed inside the Chapel.

Everybody does need to be aware that while restrictions have eased, all in attendance do need to be double vaccinated. The Cemetery staff will be signing everybody in and checking vaccination status. If you hold an exemption from double vaccination please bring printed evidence of such to show the Cemetery staff.

The service to farewell this much loved partner, father, son, friend and workmate will be live streamed on Tuesday 9th November from 12.30pm. The link to join the live stream is below:

The Cemetery asks us to make anyone actually attending the service aware that they will be filmed for the live streaming service, and that this streaming service itself and the recording is available and capable of being viewed publicly, by anybody, on Bunurong’s website. The Cemetery asks us to make people aware that if anyone proposing to attend the service does not agree to being filmed for public viewing, they should not attend the service”.

  10. Dear Aunty Merle, Uncle Garry, Jo, Shelby, Rory and Trent,

When I was little, I thought Phil was the coolest dude I knew. With his jacket covered in punk rock badges. He gave me his sex pistols pin, so cool! When he showed me his gold fish, he convinced they could talk. Funny bugger, I was only 4 at the time.
Even though we grew up in different states, when we got together it was like we were never apart. He was always so positive and what a laugh! I will miss that loud boisterous laugh.
