  4. Oh Robert, the world indeed will be a sadder place without you. The wee glint in your eye and a smile on your face and ‘aye hen’ when you spoke to me. I have such fond memories when we were all young at many a celebration at Karl and Angela’s place, there was always a song to be sung and you did that well. I just smile when I think of you and your sense of humour that carried on into later years with your entertaining posts on social media, many touched my heart and always when I needed to hear your wise words or get a laugh which I did often. My thoughts and Deepest Sympathy go out to your beautiful family, grandkids, and great grandkids they were all so special in your eyes and you will live on in all of them. RIP Robert, you will be sadly missed.

  11. So so sorry to hear of the passing of U Robert. I only saw him a few times during his life since I was born after he moved to Australia, most recently after the passing of my Mum and Dad a few years ago, but I saw straight away he was a lovely man with a sparkle in his eyes. Wishing all the family condolences at this time from all of us here in the UK.
