Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula Burials
Burial remains an important choice for many families, providing a permanent place of remembrance and a traditional way to honour a life.
Whether you are considering a simple graveside service or a church, chapel or other venue service followed by burial, we will guide you through every step with calm, experienced support.
We coordinate burial services across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, helping families create a farewell that reflects the life being honoured.
We’ve outlined the two most common burial service options below to help you understand how each approach works.

Graveside Burial Service
A simple service held at graveside at the cemetery
A graveside burial service takes place entirely at the cemetery. Family and friends gather beside the grave for the funeral service, final farewell, and burial.
This option is often chosen by families seeking a simpler and more affordable burial while still providing a meaningful opportunity to gather, reflect and honour a life.
What Happens During a Graveside Burial Service?
A graveside burial service can be a practical choice for families seeking a simpler funeral arrangement without sacrificing dignity or meaning.
By bringing the service and burial together in one location, families often find the day feels less rushed, more personal and easier to coordinate.
We regularly arrange graveside burial services across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula , helping families create a meaningful farewell that reflects the life being celebrated.

Church/Chapel + Burial Service
More traditional church / chapel service followed by burial
This traditional style of funeral begins with a service at a church, chapel or chosen venue before travelling to the cemetery for burial.
Many families prefer the flexibility this option provides, allowing more people to attend while creating a meaningful ceremony before the final farewell at graveside.
Alternatively, the second part may be private with no family attendance at the Cemetery. You’re free to choose.
What Happens During a Church/Chapel + Burial Service?
A church or chapel service followed by burial allows family and friends to gather for a formal farewell before travelling to the cemetery for the final committal.
This traditional style of service allows an opportunity to honour a life through personal tributes, readings, music and shared memories.
We coordinate church, chapel and cemetery burial services across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
